ABOUT THE BOOK

With passion and purpose, Joel Landis lifts up the challenge for today's believers to become
the end-time, chosen generation that will change the world. Today, more than ever before,
God is calling us to accept the responsibility that He charged us with through the pen of the
Apostle Paul. Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, mandated that all believers were to pray
"first of all" for "all men, for kings and all who are in authority." Accepting this charge is the key
to successfully ushering in the Kingdom of God.

In This Charge…This Generation, Landis gives the church a blueprint of solid biblical instruction
on how we can fulfill the destiny to which we are called. By taking up the disciplines of supplication, prayer, intercession, and thanksgiving, we are equipped to change lives, cities, governments and nations. It's time to truly learn to pray like we’ve never prayed before. The church must become the agent of change God intended it to be. If not, who will take the Gospel to the lost, throw down the enemy, and prepare the way for the Lord's coming? Not only do we have the authority to do these things, but we are also commanded to do them. But consistent, proper prayer is critical to our success.

Time is short and God is on the move. He is looking for obedient followers, people who are willing to abandon everything else in order to do His will. Will this generation be the one to reap the end-time harvest and usher in the second coming of Christ? Or will we fall into the shadows of history like generations before us?
